Is Pre-Nuptial Photo Session Important?

The recent trend in weddings usually have pre-nuptial session.  To give you my insight in the photographers perspective based on the number of weddings and sessions I have conducted Leyte and Southern Leyte is listed hereunder:

1. The main advantage I see of having the prenups is to have an acquaintance with your photographers, videographers and make up artist.  A good wedding picture and video is a chemistry between the bride and the groom and their photographers and videographers.  Getting accustomed with your photographer will surely result good photos during the big day.  For most of the poses, projection and holding techniques will be rehearsed by the photographer for you.  The only difference then during the actual day will be your attire. And you will feel more comfortable and assured that you will get great images out of the way you pose.
2. During prenups will also be your pre-makeup session.  The make-up artist will have first hand make over for you to see if your make up artists fits to your desire.  You will also avoid skin allergies by themake up kit being used by the make-up artist.
3. Burn some calories.  Prenups is a lot of fun and depending on the theme or concept you are going to perform for sure there will be a lot of lifting, walking, running, lying climbing, swimming and similar activities.  While doing this activities your photographers and videographers are there at the background documenting on those happy moments you shared with your partner. Of course a lot of eating and drinking too.
4. Having a prenups will give you a chance to have a meeting with your photographers and videographers to plan your big day - the wedding day.  If you have a choreography or themed style during the wedding day like bride singing in the procession, groom meeting bride at the center of the aisle or perhaps a junior bride's maid will march back to the bride to give her bouquet.  Such are example that are unexpected during the wedding day and having your photographers and videographers aware of those highlights, you will be guaranted of will taken shots.
5. The shots that will be taken during prenups will be used as your photos for your tarpaulins, wedding invites, wedding labels, save the date cards, thanks you cards, photo booth templates, signature frames, guestbooks, reception books, AVP (Audio Visual Presentation) during reception and a lot more uses it depends on the creativity of the wedding planner.

Prenuptial photography is fun and as it is important.  But depending on your budget most photographers offer a different rates usually and add-on of most of their wedding packages.
